Never Mind The Boxing....: Kneale Finally Matched!

jake_kneale.pngAfter weeks of let downs, Jake Kneale is finally matched on this Sunday's event.

James Mullany, also making his debut has stepped in for what looks like a cracking match up.

Fought under White Collar Boxing rules, both men will be there to trade and the pace is expected to be hard and fast.

This is an excellent addition to complete a classic line up!

Never Mind The Boxing....: Baker V Godbeer Off!

ali-baker.pngThe female Kickboxing match up between Anita Godbeer and Ali Baker is off following a mystery virus hitting Godbeer.

Ladies at 70kg+ are rare so we will no doubt make this one happen in the near future.

At this time we have no replacement to face Ali Baker but attempts will be made to re-match her before fight time!

Never Mind The Boxing...: Pantaleon V Carrotte - Off Yet Again!

A recurring injury has ruled Paul Carrotte out of his MMA match with Mike Pantaleon (Left)mike-pantaleon.png for the 4th or 5th time on Sunday's "Never Mind" event.

Not to worry, as waiting in the wings Jamie Wooly has been ready to go and waiting for a match for some time.

Wooly is more experienced but Pantaleon is on form. Expect this to go a little way before one or other finds a submission finish in spectacular style.

Never Mind The Boxing...: Mallinson V Brown Confirmed!

tony-mallinson.pngTwo fighters who have lost a number of opponents in the lead up to Sunday night have ended up squaring off dom-brown.pngagainst one another.

Tony Mallinson ( Spartans Left) faces Dom Brown (Team Bulldog Right). Mallinson is 2 fights into an exciting career whilst Brown will be making his debut.

This one will be fought under Kickboxing rules. Expect Brown to try and close down the skills of Mallinson and grind out a victory. Mallinson will be doing the opposite and trying to establish control with good footwork and accurate shots.

This will be interesting!

Never Mind The Boxing...: Mallinson Gets Ward

grant-mallinson.pngTom Ward is a late replacment facing Grant Mallinson (Left) following the loss of his opponent James Hill.

Ward is  a stablemate of Hill and has looked good in previous outings despite ending up on the losing end several times (as well as winning).

Mallinson though is on form and ready to fight anyone that is put in front of him.

This will be fought under Kickboxing rules and will be a nice display of Kickboxing from two up and coming prospects!

Never Mind The Boxing...: Whiting Gets Heap!

simon-whiting.pngFollowing a week of pull outs on the undercard of "Never Mind...." almost all contests have been salvaged.ben-heap.png

Sam Gray was forced to withdraw from his contest with Ben Heap following a work injury. At the same time Tom Lawson also withdrew against Simon Whiting.

These two have now been matched with each other under White Collar Boxing Rules.

So we have Ben Heap (Right) V Simon Whiting (Left) in what will be a cracker!

Never Mind The Boxing...: Pantaleon V Carrotte Confirmed!

mike-pantaleon.pngFor the 3rd or 4th time of asking, we pitch Mike Pantaleon (Team Bulldog) & Paul Carrotte (All or Nothing) together on "Absolute Adrenaline...Never Mind The Boxing" in a nice little MMA clash.

These two have been matched on a number of events, with a variety of issues preventing them from meeting. Pantaleon has been a bit busier but Carrotte still carries a little extra experience.

This contest will be won and lost on the ground and is unlikely to travel the full 3 rounds. Expect a good exchange of skills and striking along the way!

Never Mind The Boxing...: Every Cloud...!

dave-thomas.pngEvery cloud has a silver lining!

From the ashes of lost contests comes the much asked for re-match between Dave Thomas (left) & Sam Boo (below).sam-boo.png

Early on in the year Thomas stopped Boo on Shock N Awe in a close and explosive contest. Both men have come on since then and although it would have been better to wait a while before matching them again, the opportunity is there and it has to be taken.

This will be an all out war with no time to catch your breath!

Never Mind The Boxing...: Oruba Is Out!

dave-thomas.pngDave Thomas (left) has lost opponent Bart Oruba due to a training injury.

This contest promised much and the hunt is now on to replace Oruba and ensure that Thomas still appears on the card.

We wish Bart Oruba a speedy recovery and look forward to re-scheduling this match up at a later date, hopefully in Bournemouth!
