Chippenhams James Lawrence (left) makes his debut against fellow first timer Jake Gosling (Steve Bendall Boxing).
Although nothing is known about either of these men it is interesting to not that both have been schooled by former pro boxers.
Lawrence, although billed out of the Spartans gym in Chippenham has spent time with Chris Long on the pads. Long was the number one kickboxer in the country for many years before switching codes and has pro boxed now for 6 years. As a former fighter from Spartans he maintains good links with them.
Gosling is the product of Bournemouth's own Steve Bendall who, over the last 10 years has captured, the English & IBO international titles, as well as challenging for British and European honours.
Both fighters mix in talented circles so you have to expect a decent contest to follow.
