Stuart McKenzie certainly showed what he was made of in his White Collar Boxing contest against Matt Knight (Team Bulldog).
With both men making their debut, they wasted no time in getting down to business and it was Knight who briefly shone until Mckenzie dragged him into the trenches and made it a war of attrition.
From that point on it was a straight trade off and all about the fitness.
Mckenzie took the first round and seemed to grow in confidence from that point on.
The second was a little closer but by now both men were showing signs of fatigue, missing wildly at times but still providing us with plenty of action.
By the final round Knight began to fade and used his footwork to stay out of trouble as Mckenzie racked up the points to score a hard fought but deserved victory.
